I am very excited to share this summer crochet dress with you. I have to say it was a bit of a challenge but once I mastered all the maths to different sizes it was very easy.

Weight 3 yarn. I used acrylic yarn because it is much more stretchy than cotton. For the small size, I used 200g.
4mm crochet hook

Dress with shoulder straps Crochet Pattern


Design written for Passap Duomatic 80 and Electronic 6000 (E6000).
Size: 96 cm.
It can be adapted to a machine with a standard gauge with a ribbon tape.
Most of the yarns for Passap patterns are thin tapered yarns which are no longer available. The yarns for this pattern are described as measuring 400 m per 100 g.
The meter is 100 S: 41 cm and 100 R: 30 cm, which corresponds to 24.4 S and 33.3 R per 10 cm.
The pattern requires a total of 400 m (230 g of yellow acrylic, 30 g of beige acrylic).

The pattern includes tips for the Form computer as well as Deco punch cards.

Pattern calls for:
19.25 oz medium linen ‘boucle’ yarn
8 buttons
Test square – 100st = 16.5” 100r = 7.75”
Passap Pinky: Stocking stitch D5, pattern D5/4, 1:1 rib D4.5
Needle setup calls for all back needles with front needles in work according to selections in chart. Hand manipulating by moving back bed stitches to front. N/CX.

Romi Summer Dress Crochet Pattern


It is worked top down with the first 2 rounds on the shoulder straps, then the front and back pieces are worked separately for a few rounds to form the shoulder openings and work the top of the dress. After these few rows, we connect the back and front pieces and start working again in the rounds.

To create this V shape on the front we will be adding stitches mid front and back. After connecting the parts, we will have to reduce the sides to keep the dress straight.

We’re going to work this V-shape a couple of rounds and then fill the sides to keep the bottom straight. After straightening the hemline, we will continue to work on the length of the dress as many laps as you want until you reach the desired length.
